SYNOPSIS

clear [-a]


DESCRIPTION

The clear command clears your terminal screen. With no options, only the displayed area of the screen buffer is cleared.

Options

-a 

clears the entire screen buffer.


DIAGNOSTICS

Possible exit status values are:

0 

Successful completion.

>0 

An error occurred.
