SYNOPSIS
halt [
DESCRIPTION
The halt commands shuts down the system.
The default behavior, without the
Options
-q -
does not prompt the user to save when shutting down user programs.
-r -
reboots the system. After shutting down, the system reboots.
-l -
logs the current user off. This option does not reboot the system.
The
DIAGNOSTICS
Possible exit status values are:
