psproxy

remote ps service

Service

SYNOPSIS

psproxy -install [hostname] [-verbose|-quiet]

psproxy -remove [hostname] [-verbose|-quiet]

psproxy -debug params

DESCRIPTION

The psproxy service provides remote ps facilities for the -S hostname option of ps. If the service is not already installed on the specified hostname when this option is given, ps attempts to install it. For this installation to succed, the current user must be a trusted administration on hostname. Without psproxy installed on the remote system, ps can only display limited information about the processes on that system.

Options

-install [hostname
