SYNOPSIS

ghist


DESCRIPTION

ghist displays the current KornShell command line history in a scrollable dialog box. Invoke ghist by either typing ghist on the command line, or striking ESC then g while in vi or emacs editing mode.

To run a command from the history list, click the command to highlight it, then click Run. To edit a command, click the command to highlight it, the edit the command line in the Current Line field, then click Run.


DIAGNOSTICS

Possible exit status values are:

0 

Successful completion.

>0 

An error occurred.


NOTE

ghist is built into the MKS KornShell.
