get maximum priority value for scheduling policy

SYNOPSIS

int sched_get_priority_max(int policy);


DESCRIPTION

The sched_get_priority_max() gets the maximum priority value for the specified scheduling policy. Valid scheduling policies include SCHED_FIFO, SCHED_OTHER, and SCHED_RR.


PARAMETERS

policy 

Is the scheduling policy; one of the values specified in the DESCRIPTION section.


RETURN VALUES

On success, sched_get_priority_max() returns the appropriate priority value. On error, it returns -1 and sets errno to one of the following values:

EINVAL 

policy does not specify a valid scheduling policy.
