DII COE Compliance

MKS Toolkit for Enterprise Developers is used by a large number of development organizations that are responsible for building and maintaining applications that are subject to DII COE standards and guidance. These organizations rely on MKS Toolkit for Enterprise Developers to enable their "UNIX-heritage" software components to build and run reliably on Windows NT platforms. Applications ported to Windows NT with MKS Toolkit for Enterprise Developers can fully comply with the DII COE Interim Development Guidance for Windows NT Platforms. This guidance requires direct access to Win32 APIs from within "UNIX-heritage" software components to access the Windows NT Registry and to comply with Windows NT and Windows 95 Logo requirements. MKS certifies that MKS Toolkit for Enterprise Developers applications can achieve the requisite access to Win32 APIs and other Windows constructs as necessary to comply with this guidance.

CDR Ken Wheeler, USN, DII COE Chief Engineer, has agreed to confirm the validity of MKS Toolkit for Enterprise Developers appropriateness for DII COE applications on Windows NT via email (wheele1k@ncr.disa.mil).
